To replace historic outsourced sales training with a dedicated in house sales trainer and coach to maximise quality, consistency and integration with MHR sales processes and systems.
The role combines sales training in line with a recognised methodology with sales coaching of managers and selected reps.
The expected outcomes are:
1. Better sales skill levels leading to better sales execution
2. Better ability to attract, develop and retain talent
3. More efficiency through consistent processes
Duties and Responsibilities:
The role would have 3 areas of responsibility:
4. Classroom training of sales skills and methodology including:
5. Prospecting (uncovering opportunities with a new account)
6. Strategic account planning to uncover opportunities
7. Initial research and how to use that in your initial engagement.
8. Managing a value-based discovery call
9. Objection handing - Price, contract, functionality gaps, references etc
10. Stakeholder mapping and engagement
11. Planning and delivering your agenda
12. Planning to win
13. Writing a value based proposal
14. Closing Contracts
15. Understanding and managing your vertical market
16. Facilitating and managing a MHR team of cross functional experts
17. Sales Coaching for up to 10 individuals per quarter (may be “coach the coach” [managers], coaching potential, tactical coaching)
18. Implementation of formal sales methodology to link with training and systems, e.g. MEDDIC
Qualifications
19. MEDDIC Certification or similar sales methodology
