The SCPT Nursing service operates an open access policy that is currently available Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays. Care needs are prioritised and teams must be able to respond to both planned and unplanned interventions.
The post holder will participate in the care of service users / families in their own home or community setting under the direction of a SCPT Nursing team, taking into account the lifestyle, race, gender and cultural background, and factors which impact on physical, mental or emotional health. The post holder will represent the values and beliefs of the SCPT Nursing service as well as that of the organisation.
The Healthcare Assistant will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient and person centred care to service users / families, as delegated and directed by the SCPT Nursing team. The post holder will support the SCPT Nursing team in the delivery of care to service users, families / carers. The post holder will promote a culture of engagement with service users, families / carers, which includes as core principles and values an approach which is caring, compassionate, courteous, empathetic and respectful.
A Valid Full UK Driving License is ESSENTIAL.
