Position: Sales Colleague
Location: Poole – Currys, Poole
Employment: Permanent, Part Time – 15-30 hours per week with flexibility. Pay rate: £12.71* per hour, rising to £13.01 after successful completion of probation, plus an average bonus per hour of 89p.
Currys is the UK’s best‑known retailer of technology. Our stores are open seven days a week, typically between 9am and 8pm, and offer a supportive, inclusive environment where every colleague can be themselves. All new Sales Colleagues undergo a two‑to‑three‑day induction, either virtually or at our academy in Fort Dunlop, Birmingham, to gain foundational skills for selling, serving and supporting customers.
Responsibilities
* Ask the right questions to match customers with products.
* Create memorable customer interactions.
* Offer support services such as delivery, installation, recycling and payment options.
* Contribute to the overall sales performance of the store.
* Work across different departments and product ranges.
* Support the running of the store by completing operational tasks.
Qualifications
* Approachable and friendly.
* Keen to learn about the latest technology.
* Comfortable achieving personal sales, service and customer experience targets.
* Strong team player, confident working across all parts of the store and winning as a team.
