Education, Health Care Plan Caseworker [BTN8491]
Chichester College Group is seeking a dedicated and proactive EHCP Caseworker to join our team, ensuring that each learner receives the support, advocacy and high‑quality provision they need to thrive.
Base pay range: Pro rata of £25,582 – £25,683 per annum (≈£11,118.32 – £11,162.22) for 18.5 hours per week over 38 weeks per year.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), coordinating assessments and drafting and reviewing plans.
* Monitor progress and ensure statutory timescales are met.
* Chair meetings with families, support staff and tutors to ensure learning targets are achieved and adjust plans as necessary.
* Collaborate with families, schools, external agencies and colleagues across the Group.
* Deliver support, advocacy and high‑quality provision directly impacting learner outcomes.
Requirements
* Strong organisational skills and effective communication.
* Ability to build positive, professional relationships with a range of stakeholders.
* Understanding of SEND legislation, particularly the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.
* Willingness to undertake further specialist training; training and support provided for those working toward a desirable qualification.
