Praxis Block Management is a well-established property management company based in South-East London. We specialise in the management of leasehold residential developments across England & Wales, delivering a proactive, transparent, and service-driven approach to our clients. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit adriven and capable Assistant Property Manager to support our expanding portfolio and work closely with our experienced Property Management team. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for someone with residential block management experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment. You will play a key role in managing a portfolio and supporting Property Managers in the day-to-day management of their portfolio, ensuring a high standard of service delivery to leaseholders and clients. Key Responsibilities: Managing day-to-day operations across a portfolio of residential developments. Acting as a key point of contact for leaseholders, clients, and contractors. Proactively resolving issues rather than simply responding to queries. Assisting with and progressing service charge budgets, expenditure tracking, and cost control Liaising with the accounts team regarding service charge collection, arrears, and financial queries. Instructing and managing contractors for both reactive and planned works. Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring works are completed to a high standard. Supporting and managing Section 20 consultation processes. Assisting with major works and fire safety projects (including EWS1 / FRAEW exposure) Handling insurance claims and liaising with brokers, loss adjusters, and contractors. Coordinating compliance requirements (FRA, EICR, emergency lighting, H&S, etc.) Carrying out site inspections and preparing follow-up actions. Attending site visits and leaseholder/AGM meetings. Supporting with legal matters including lease interpretation and tribunal (FTT) preparation. Assisting with on-boarding of new properties and handovers. Maintaining accurate records and documentation across property management systems. Personal Attributes: Essential: Experience within residential leasehold block management. Strong understanding of leases, service charges, and landlord & tenant legislation. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional, confident, and client-focused approach. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset. IT literate, including Microsoft Office. Desirable: TPI / RICS qualification (or working towards) Experience using property management software (e.g. MRI Qube / Resident) Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
