We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join the Functional Team at Greggs.
We’re currently midway through a major transformation programme, migrating from SAP Business Client to S/4HANA. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping a future‑ready manufacturing solution that supports our long‑term growth.
S/4HANA is already live across Procurement and Finance, and we’ve recently launched at two Manufacturing sites and one Logistics site. With a rollout plan that continues over the next 12–24 months, you’ll be actively involved in upcoming deployments while also supporting sites still to transition.
You’ll also take ownership of ongoing system enhancements, ensuring Greggs continues to innovate and maintain a strong competitive advantage.

About the role
17. This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered

19. The base location for this role is Greggs Innovate House, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12 8EW.
What you'll do
Reporting to the Functional Manager, you will be responsible for:
20. Working with business stakeholders, system integrators and other IT teams to deliver a best-in-class business solution
21. Configuring S4/H and ensure all solutions are fully documented and continue to be updated
22. Trouble-shooting issues that might arise and taking ownership through to finding and implementing a resolution
23. Working with our Test Team to share your knowledge and expertise so that our solutions are fully tested before they are moved to the Production clients
24. Building and maintaining good working relationships with business stakeholders at all levels.
About you
You will fit right into this role if you have:
25. Knowledge of S/4H or SAP ECC Manufacturing Solutions – including Production Planning, Quality Management and Master Data
26. Experience of using an integrated weighing system, as well as working with EWM integrated sites, would be an advantage, but not essential
27. S/4H or SAP ECC Configuration knowledge
28. Ability to problem solve and bring issues to a resolution
29. Effective verbal and written communication skills
30. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
31. An ability to learn quickly and thrive under pressure
32. Strong planning and organisational skills
33. Effective team player and able to deliver clear individual goals
