Job Summary
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity to work with us. We are seeking experienced Senior Clinical Perfusion Scientists to join our Cardiovascular and Thoracic care group.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out various administrative duties associated with the role.
* Perform all adult cardiac surgical techniques, including cell salvage, point‑of‑care blood analysis, DHCA and ECMO.
* Provide support for paediatric and ACHD procedures where required (beneficial but not essential).
* Participate in the department on‑call rota.
Qualifications and Experience
* Accredited by the Society of Perfusionists of Great Britain & Ireland.
* Registered with the College of Clinical Perfusionists of Great Britain & Ireland.
* Demonstrated experience with adult cardiac surgical techniques; paediatric and ACHD experience advantageous.
Working Hours & Salary
37.5‑hour, 3‑day working week. Recruitment and retention premium totaling £5,000 p.a. (pro rata) and relocation support available.
