Unit Manager – Labor & Delivery
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is hiring for a Unit Manager in the Labor & Delivery Department. The Unit Manager reports to the Clinical Director of Maternal & Child Health, oversees day‑to‑day unit operations, and assumes 24‑hour responsibility for the Labor & Delivery Unit. Responsibilities include coordinating, reviewing, and evaluating nursing and support staff, preparing performance evaluations, managing the department budget and staffing, approving schedules, and working with ARMC leadership to maintain patient quality metrics and key performance indicators.

Qualifications
* License: Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
* Experience: Three (3) years as a licensed Registered Nurse, with at least two (2) of those years in a Labor & Delivery Unit and one (1) year as a full‑scope supervisor over professional nursing staff.
* Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Business or Healthcare Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
* Certification: Must possess and maintain the following unit specific certifications:
o Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification issued by Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)
o Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) Certification issued by American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
o Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS)
o Healthcare Provider Level Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
