Requirements
Must have:
- 2-5 years experience as a Presales Solutions Architect (or similar) in customer-facing roles during the sales cycle - Background in technical pre-sales support in Managed WAN/LAN Services, preferably with Cisco, Extreme, or Fortinet technologies - Proven experience in network design, bespoke customer solutions, and professional documentation - Expertise in WAN technologies: Leased Lines, Carrier Ethernet, EFM, xDSL - Knowledge of LAN architecture across DC, core, aggregation, and access layers - Up-to-date skills in SDN, SD-WAN, NFV, and network virtualization - Understanding of Wi-Fi technologies: CAPWAP, WPA, 802.1X, mesh and controllers - Strong communication skills, able to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales & Account teams to understand customer needs and facilitate meetings and reviews - Design tailored LAN & WAN solutions that align with our product offerings - Provide support to customers throughout the process with clear and straightforward guidance - Produce professional documentation such as Statements of Work (SOWs), High-Level Designs (HLDs), and schematics - Collaborate across teams including Sales, Service Delivery, and Account Management to drive new business and support existing customers - Track and manage activity within our CRM system and contribute to a pipeline exceeding £1m Gross Margin annually - Optimize solutions for profitability, reliability, and sustained value
