We're looking for people with experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge, ideally within community-based settings such as supported living or residential care.
* Deliver person-centred support, focusing on individual strengths and goals.
* Work alongside the people we support to develop and follow personalised support plans.
* Help with everyday skills such as cooking, personal care, budgeting, and household tasks.
* Support health and wellbeing, including medication, medical appointments, and healthy lifestyle choices.
* Encourage social inclusion by supporting access to community activities and building meaningful relationships.
* Use PBS strategies to reduce behaviours that challenge and promote positive change.
* Keep accurate records of progress, outcomes, and daily activities.
* Collaborate with colleagues, families, and professionals to ensure consistent, holistic support. Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a real advantage, and specific PBS training courses attended and any qualifications gained.
* Services operate 24/7 with 1:1 and 2:1 support.
* Every other weekend working required.
* Shift times From 19:30pm - 07:30am.
