Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Children in Care (CIC) Team with Buckinghamshire Council, based in Aylesbury.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing a caseload of looked-after children and young people.
* Undertaking statutory visits and ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed and updated.
* Progressing permanency planning, including long-term fostering, Special Guardianship, and adoption where appropriate.
* Completing pathway plans and supporting young people towards independence.
* Working collaboratively with foster carers, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
* Preparing clear, analytical reports for reviews, meetings, and court proceedings.
* Ensuring all case recordings are completed to a high standard and within timescales.
Pay Rate:
* £38.00 per hour Umbrella
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent).
* Social Work England registration.
* Experience working within a Children in Care / Looked After Children team.
* Sound knowledge of relevant childcare legislation and statutory guidance.
