Reports to: Head of Communities
Location: Mainly Bridgend County Borough, with occasional need to travel to Merthyr, Torfaen and Herefordshire.
Salary: £29,399 FTE, 37 hours a week

Halo Leisure is a registered charity (1091543) and social enterprise running sport and leisure facilities across local authorities in England and in Wales.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Halo’s award winning Healthy Communities function.
The primary purpose of the role is to lead the research and insight function taking a role in helping inform the future work of Halo Leisure in Bridgend, and evaluating existing work of the Healthy Communities team, including the Dementia Friendly programme ‘Feel Good for Life’ that is part funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Furthermore, with the growth of Halo and its programmes to tackle inequalities, the role will capture impact and highlight our value across Halo’s other regions.
You will gather, assess and communicate insight-led recommendations to influence social change through sport & physical activity.
You will be passionate about providing quality evidence and evaluation work to help showcase the work of the Healthy Communities function and support the organisation's strategic objectives. To be successful, you’ll need to be enthusiastic, engaging, and help us better understand people’s relationships with physical activity - from the opportunities they have, to the challenges they face.
