Core Banking Platform
finova’s Core Banking Platform includes the UK market-leading cloud-based originations software and integrated in-life servicing software. The platform supports mortgages, equity release, specialist lending and savings. Over £75 billion has been originated through the system by our customers and over £27 billion of loans and savings are managed through the servicing platform.
The platform is designed for fast implementation and facilitates day-to-day banking operations. Utilising the latest technology, the API-led platform seamlessly integrates with over 20 third-party applications, enabling financial institutions to self-configure the platform effortlessly and efficiently to meet the rapidly changing demands of the market
About You
In terms of your experience, your attitude is everything, but we'd particularly love to see your:
• This role is ideal for someone who has a real passion for user interface design, loves tackling and solving complex user workflows and creating usable interface design systems.
• Previous experience creating low and high-fidelity concept screens, clickable prototypes and designing clean modern user interfaces for a range of products
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in UI design or a related field, from which you have a strong portfolio that showcases high-quality work that you are proud of
• Experience working in financial services is a bonus, but not essential. We have a tailored onboarding journey which will get you up to speed in no time.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to work in highly collaborative environments (remotely and in-person)
• Expertise in standard UX/UI software - experience in Figma to a high level and a deep understanding of typography, colour theory, layout principles, and visual hierarchy.
• Maintaining the company’s Design System, style guides and UI pattern libraries to promote consistency and scalability across products
• Taking ownership of design projects, managing timelines and deliverables.
• Ensuring quality and accuracy in all work produced.
What will you be doing
• Oversee the user interface design of a suite of fintech products, from conception to launch in partnership with product managers and development teams
• Working closely with development teams to design and implement accessible, responsive and consistent user interfaces
• Understand, rationalise and solve complex user interactions through storyboarding user journeys and process flows
• Create conceptual UI designs and interactive prototypes
• Validate and refine ideas through stakeholder and end user testing
• Maintain and evolve the product Design System, style guides and UI pattern libraries
• Ensuring the standard of UX is consistent and maintained throughout group wide suite of products
