Warehouse Person (CSJ) LOCATION: Cornwall Campus WORKWEEK: Flexible (TBD) TERM: Fixed Term Contract PERIOD: 8 weeks SALARY: $17.92 / HOUR, hourly for 32 hours per week OVERVIEW: The role of the Building Maintenance/Warehouse Worker is to support the Property Management team in keeping our buildings in tip-top shape, welcoming and inviting for all our events, programs & services. They will also help organize and facilitate the warehouse of products for missional work in the community. Preparing items for ministry partners and needs within the church. RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary duties are general building maintenance, including but not limited to: daily cleaning and sanitization of the building’s various rooms, setting up rooms and furniture, restocking supplies, and maintaining our landscaping. Warehouse duties consist of sorting stock received, preparing items to go to partners, general cleaning of the warehouse, connecting with partners regarding pick up/delivery, and representing Lifecentre well to community partners. 1. General Building Maintenance & Landscaping (30%) Responsible for the execution of all aspects of building maintenance, including but not limited to: Cleaning & Sanitization of rooms, windows, and washrooms. Emptying recycling and garbage receptacles General building maintenance and projects such as; light construction, repair, and painting. Landscaping (Maintaining Flowerbeds and the parking lot) Setting up rooms, moving and assembling furniture. Locking up the building after specific services and events. Various other tasks related to Lifecenter buildings, as directed by the Campus Pastor. 2. Warehouse Centre (70%) Responsible for the execution of all aspects of our warehouse facility, including but not limited to: Sort incoming loads of product for humanitarian relief. Organize items to be distributed to ministry partners (food banks, charities & non-profits, etc). General cleaning and tidying of warehouse (cardboard collection, sweeping, etc). Liaising with ministry partners during pick-ups. Sorting and loading products for the Mobile Mission truck (mobile food bank)
