Geography Graduate – Trainee Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Secondary School – UKStart Date: September 2026Contract: Full-Time
A high-performing secondary school is looking for an ambitious Geography Graduate to join their team as a Trainee Graduate Teaching Assistant.
This role is perfect for a graduate who wants to gain practical school experience before progressing into teacher training.
Responsibilities
* Supporting Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Working with students in small groups and individually
* Assisting with classroom management and learning activities
* Helping students improve confidence and academic progress
* Supporting revision sessions and intervention programmes
Requirements
* A UK Geography degree or related qualification
* Enthusiasm for education and student development
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
* Interest in training to teach in the future
