We have an amazing opportunity for a Support Worker to support a man with a brain injury in the Eastwood area of Nottingham. About the role: We are seeking three enthusiastic and proactive individuals to support a man with a brain injury in the Eastwood area of Nottingham. You will support him with his day-to-day care regime and rehabilitation programme to promote his quality of life and independence, both at home and in the community. Training and supervision will be given. You will be joining a well-established care team that provide quality holistic care. What you'll be working: This post includes evening, weekend shifts and occasional sleep-in duties. Location: Nottingham Hours: 33-44 hours per week (shifts to be discussed) Salary: 12.21 per hour (weekdays); 12.99 per hour (weekends); 71.35 per sleep-in shift; double time on bank holidays What you'll have: Essential you are reliable and professional - you value honesty and discretion. you are friendly and approachable. you are flexible and you work well under pressure. Preferred you have experience of supporting someone with a brain injury/spinal injury, although training will be provided to the right candidates. you have experience of supporting an adult including use of PEG, although training will be given. you have experience of working alongside other Support Workers.
