Job Description
Mller Yogurt & Desserts is the UK's leading yogurt manufacturer, responsible for major brands like Mllerlight, Mller Corner, and Mller Rice. It produces chilled desserts under licence from Mondelez International and supplies the UK private label yogurt market from a state-of-the-art facility.
We are seeking highly skilled Engineers, known internally as Shift Technicians, to join our Telford Dairy - Yogurts & Desserts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reactive maintenance and conducting planned maintenance activities as required.
The ideal candidate will have a time-served apprenticeship or HNC qualification and experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally in food or beverages.

* Job Title: Engineering Technician (Multi Skilled)
* Location: Telford
* Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 7-7 (days & nights)
* Salary: £55,620 per annum plus paid overtime at 1.5x
* Additional: £5,000 signing bonus payable after passing probation

Candidate Requirements
* Experience in a multi-skilled department maintaining fast-moving manufacturing or logistics environments
* Mechanical and electrical engineering experience in production and process environments
* Apprentice-trained with proven experience on machinery, pumps, valves, and PLCs
* Good knowledge of filling and process technology
* Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
* Knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques
* Team-building skills and ability to work cross-functionally
