We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join an industry leading manufacturing company based in Banbury!
As part of a highly skilled engineering team, youll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the site by carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance, minimising downtime, and supporting ongoing improvement projects.
This role is perfect for a mechanically biased engineer with experience in Manufacturing, Production, Industrial, Recycling, or similar environments.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!
What youll be doing
Planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery
Maintaining equipment such as drillers, die cutters, slitter-scorers, conveyors, palletisers, balers, motors, drives, and hydraulic systems
Supporting installations, upgrades, and commissioning of equipment
Fault-finding and completing mechanical repairs to minimise downtime
Ensuring safe and efficient site operations through regular checks and inspections
Managing spare parts, maintenance records, and contributing to continuous improvement projects
Hours
Week 1: Early shift 06:00 14:00 (MonFri)
Week 2: Day shift 08:00 16:00 (MonFri)
Week 3: Back shift 14:00 22:00 (MonFri)
Week 4: Night shift 22:00 06:00 (SunThurs)
Pay
£51,000 - £58,500 (Depending on Experience)
Skills/Experience Required
Minimum 12 months experience in a mechanical maintenance role
Background in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Industrial, or Recycling or similar
Mechanical bias with strong fault-finding skills
Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documents
Health & Safety awareness
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Mechanical engineering qualifications (preferred)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
