This is a standout opportunity for an experienced tax professional to step into a senior, Associate Director-level position within a progressive firm. The role offers a balanced mix of strategic input and hands-on client work, with responsibility for delivering complex tax advice while maintaining exceptional standards of client service. The Role This is a pivotal appointment for the firm, offering full oversight of the tax function while playing a central role in shaping both compliance delivery and advisory growth. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team and contribute directly to the continued expansion of the tax offering. Lead the tax team, reviewing complex personal and business tax returns, managing client and internal tax queries, and overseeing HMRC correspondence and enquiries across multiple tax areas. Take ownership of departmental performance, including billing, WIP management, workflow efficiency, and overall service delivery standards. Deliver and oversee a range of advisory projects, including tax planning assignments and detailed client reviews to ensure optimal tax efficiency, supported by high-quality reporting and recommendations. Strengthen existing client relationships, engage with third-party advisers, and actively contribute to the development of new advisory services and new business opportunities for the practice.
