Associate Professor, Clinical Anatomy (Teaching Focused) (75939-0925)
Full time, teaching only (1.0 FTE). Salary: £58,225 – £67,468. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic and/or clinical staff to work with a leading team of clinical anatomists at Warwick Medical School (MBChB team). The post holder will have a unique opportunity to enhance their skills via leadership in the development and delivery of education and training in clinical anatomy and medical imaging at MBChB and postgraduate/professional level. The role may contribute to other teaching, learning and assessment activities within the MBChB programme, such as OSCE examinations and written assessment creation and delivery, and may take other leadership roles at appropriate points.
Part-time or other flexible working arrangements will be considered despite the position being advertised as full-time.
Responsibilities
* Lead development and delivery of education and training in clinical anatomy and medical imaging at MBChB and postgraduate/professional levels.
* Contribute to teaching, learning and assessment activities within the MBChB programme (e.g., OSCE examinations and written assessment creation and delivery).
* Take on leadership roles at appropriate points and participate in broader teaching/learning activities as required by Warwick Medical School.
About You
Warwick Medical School runs the largest Graduate Entry Medical programme in the UK. The MBChB course is centred around Case Based Learning (CBL) with integrated longitudinal themes and system-based learning. Clinical anatomy and imaging education is provided via the new Clinical Education Hub with resources including asynchronous online materials, interactive workshops, plastinated dissections, living subjects, model creation, drawing and medical imaging.
