Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for new product innovation? You’ll play a key role in shaping next-generation technologies and supporting full lifecycle product delivery — from concept through to launch.
The Role
* Lead the technical development of powered and battery-powered systems, ensuring robust, compliant, and scalable product solutions.
* Work closely with design, innovation, and production teams to test prototypes, validate performance, and support manufacturing readiness.
* Provide specialist input into electrical design, battery integration, and product testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Support customer trials, produce technical documentation, and contribute to continuous product improvement.
* Act as a technical mentor and collaborate across teams to drive best practice and innovation.
About You
* Degree or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
* Strong experience (5 years) in electrical/electronic product development and manufacturing.
* Proven track record taking products from concept to production.
* Knowledge of Li‑Ion battery systems (highly advantageous).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder‑facing skills.
* A proactive, self-starting approach with great attention to detail.
