Practice Nurse Park Farm - Pride Veterinary centre Up to £31,000 depending on experience, plus benefits This is an exciting and unique role split between our main hospital on Pride Park and our Park Farm Practice at Allestree. You would be joining our team of dedicated clinic nurses who work hard to develop strong bonds with our clients and strive to improve the clinics we can offer them. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys client contact and is looking to develop their consulting skills whilst keeping a hand in with your general nursing skills. Overview We have 12 local practices who provide quality care and have lots of returning customers who want that friendly team feel. They are well equipped with consulting rooms/theatre/xray and laboratories allowing them to run independently of Pride but with the support if needed. Our Park Farm site has been established since 2011 and has a loyal customer base. It is in a busy shopping precinct and has really become part of the community in Allestree. Pride Veterinary Centre offers a range of state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Our diagnostics and treatments are second to none and we have many highly trained and experienced nurses to ensure that our patients receive the very best treatment. The team The Pride Veterinary Centre clinic nurse team consists of a group of nurses dedicated to carrying out nurse clinics such as weight clinics, new pet chats and wellness clinics amongst others. We have a dedicated consult room where we run clinics all day monday to saturday. As a team we are all passionate about preventative healthcare and developing lasting bonds with our client base. The team at Park farm is small and close knit and maintains a real community feel. The team consists of a team of CCA's/a VCA and first opinion vets along with a qualified nurse. The role The role is split with 2 days at Park Farm and 2 days at Pride Veterinary Centre Consulting at Pride Veterinary Centre is a fantastic opportunity to develop your consulting skills and help us improve and develop the clinics we offer to our clients. We are always open to new ideas The environment is busy, positive and rewarding. At Park farm the role will be a mix of assisting with surgery and nurse clinics along with helping with the day to day running of the practice. This is a full-time role of 38 hours per week over 4 days working between the opening hours of 8.00am at the earliest to 7pm as the latest finish. There is also one saturday to work every 4 weeks.
