Contract Type: Permanent – 45 hours
Location: Slough, SL1 4LZ
Shift: Days – Monday/Friday - 09:00-19:00
Salary: £31,000

About this role: This role will ensure the safe and efficient throughput of traffic within the various sortation areas of the operation in accordance with the individual work area requirements. You will need a strong work ethic and real attention to detail. It’s a physical job, in a busy warehouse hub that’s always working at full speed, so you’ll be on the go throughout your shift.
Key Role Responsibilities:
* Supervision & reconciliation of warehouse (deliveries, Holdbay etc)
* Efficient Management of any bulk/return deliveries with C&D and LGV fleet
* Support Bulk Collection Customer Planning
* Support LGV Transport rules & regulations
* Effective deployment of all operational resource in accordance with the work area requirements
* Ensure KPI targets are achieved or exceeded in accordance with the work area requirements
* Attend training and personal development courses as arranged
The ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum of 1 year working in a comparable or acting supervisory role
* Knowledge of resource management and deployment
* Excellent communicator able to provide, receive and implement operational information and instruction
* Good IT skills
