Foundry Operative
We are currently recruiting a Foundry Operative - Stacker to join a busy foundry in the Congleton area. This is a temp-to-perm role offering structured rotating shifts and long-term opportunities for the right candidate.
Working Hours:
o Week 1: Monday to Thursday – 06:00 to 18:00
o Week 2: Monday to Wednesday – 18:00 to 06:00
Key Duties of this Foundry Operative role:
o Stacking and organising castings and materials safely
o Manual handling of products in line with site procedures
o Supporting production and finishing processes within the foundry
o Ensuring work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe
o Carrying out quality checks and reporting any defects or issues
o Following all health & safety guidelines at all times
Skills & Experience Required for this Foundry Operative role :
o Previous experience working in a foundry, manufacturing, or heavy industrial would be an advantage
o Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
o Comfortable working day and night shifts on a rotating pattern
o Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
o Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment
o Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Details of this Foundry Operative role:
o £12.76 per hour plus shift allowance (£16.02)
o Rotating shift pattern with built-in rest days
o Temp-to-perm opportunity after a successful probation period
o Temp to perm for the right candidate
o Location: Congleton
