About the Role
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing seeks a Care Assistant to support a male Service User with C2 Spinal Injury, tracheotomy, and ventilator dependency in his home. Full clinical training provided.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
* Assisting with mobility and manual handling
* Supporting with meal preparation and feeding, where necessary
* Monitoring and recording vital signs (after training)
* Offering companionship and emotional support
* Prompting or assisting with medication (where required and trained)
* Helping with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
* Following care plans and reporting changes or concerns to the care team
* Maintaining dignity, respect, and confidentiality at all times
Who Were Looking for
Were looking for individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care. Ideally, you will have:
* Essential: 6 Months of care experience
* Driving License required, Ability to drive a mobility van
* Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, resilience, flexibility, and Computer literate.
* able to work with dogs present
