Are you a GP who has passion, drive, integrity, and initiative? Vida Healthcare are seeking a motivated GP to join their team with the m ain base to be Gayton Road Health Centre, King’s Lynn. Sessions are negotiable - up to 8 for a full-time position. We are more than happy to mentor recently qualified GPs building your confidence and p ursuing new skills are welcomed. You would be responsible for your own administrative work and helping support others when they are on leave. You would be invited to attend team meetings as required. Duties will include; Face to face consultations, telephone consultations, home visits as required Carry out appropriate administrative Participate in activities required to assess compliance with the CQC Fundamental Standards Provide any services as required for the Primary Care Network agreement including shared QOF standards and service specifications. Provide high-quality medical services in the context of General Practice to the patients registered with Vida Healthcare. Provide appropriate care and services to patients in all age ranges and with all levels of health care needs Respond to medical/health problems presented by patients on the Practice register, including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referral as appropriate. Read and interpret test requests and results ordered by you and other team members, taking appropriate action based on the findings. Assist staff and patients with clinical or prescribing queries, checking, and signing repeat prescriptions, managing investigation results and completing paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion. About the Candidate All applicants should have the following qualifications: Fully qualified GP with GMC registration Medical Degree Certificate of completion of training Registered under primary medical performers list and skills, including: Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services; Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date; Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety; Commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.
