An established Glasgow-based organisation is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join its finance function. Role Summary:
You will operate as part of a Finance team aligned to the organisation’s strategic objectives, supporting financial and management accounting activities in line with established processes, timetables, and policies. The role involves close collaboration with operational and commercial teams across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with the preparation of management accounts, including overhead analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
2. Ensure margins are completed to deadline with appropriate supporting commentary
3. Support budget holder reviews to validate results, update forecasts, and provide challenge where appropriate
