As a Sales Assistant based in Harrow you’ll be responsible for:
1. Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
2. Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
3. General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders which will involve manual handling of heavy items.
4. Key holder opening and closing the branch
This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday to No weekend working.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
5. Prior industry/merchant experience would be advantageous.
6. Previous face to face sales and customer service experience.
7. Warehouse experience
8. To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
9. Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
10. To be comfortable lifting heavy items
11. Driving licence preferred
