A leading UK membership organisation is seeking an
Events Manager
for a
3-month contract starting in January
, offering
£250 per day (Inside IR35)
. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of events, including conferences, forums, webinars, roundtables, and executive dinners, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-End Event Management:
Plan and deliver events, oversee logistics (venues, AV, catering, registration), manage timelines, and conduct post-event analysis.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the main contact for members, sponsors, speakers, and internal teams, ensuring strong relationships and smooth coordination.
* Commercial Delivery:
Secure sponsorships, manage agreements, and track income from sponsorship and ticket sales.
* Content & Marketing:
Collaborate on agendas, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns across digital and print channels.
* Governance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance, maintain competitor insights, and report on performance to drive improvements.
* Technical Skills:
Use digital tools for registration, troubleshooting, and branding.
* Customer Service:
Provide professional support to delegates and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in event coordination within commercial or membership-based environments.
* Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team under tight deadlines.
* Flexibility to work outside standard hours and travel when required.
