What the Job Involves As a Social Worker Level 2, you will manage a varied and complex caseload, conducting assessments, planning care, and reviewing support packages. You'll collaborate in a multi-agency environment, provide advice and mentoring to colleagues, and engage in safeguarding enquiries. Additionally, you will identify broader non-social care needs, construct value-for-money care packages, and ensure high-quality service provision. You may also supervise and mentor a small team or social work students, deputize in the absence of the Lead Practitioner, and operate within delegated budget support mechanisms.
