Snug Hospitality is an ambitious hospitality operator creating comfortable, warm, and cosy pubs around Norfolk and the East of England. THE ROLE
As a result of our continued growth we're looking for a Chef de Partie at our newest opening - a destination venue in North Norfolk with an excellent reputation for food and cask ales. We're looking for someone who is fun, enthusiastic and not afraid of hard work. You'll be responsible for producing quality fresh, local & seasonal food, delivering consistently high standards. Working with the Head Chef you will be passionate about making customers happy and develop a menu using fresh, seasonal produce to create great flavours befitting of the venue.
As part of the pub team, you will work to achieve the sales and service targets and grow the business in both the peak and off peak season.
Take responsibility for the day to day running of the kitchen & it's team, ensuring that every dish is big & bold in flavour and consistent in presentation
Use fresh, seasonal and local ingredients making everything from scratch and ensuring consistence from one dish to the next
Maintain high levels of food hygiene & safety across the business,
Hours of work are up to 40 hours per week on a weekly rota working a variety of lunch and evening shifts.
THE PERSON
At least 1 years in a chef role using fresh, seasonal ingredients
Passionate about food, and a flare for creating new dishes regularly
An understanding of the local area, its suppliers & produce
Experience of working directly with owners n a small but growing business (preferred)
