I'm working with a well established and popular employer within the Peterborough area to find their new Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and collaborative team.
In this role you'll be responsible for assisting the accounts and administration team with the day-to-day running of the office and supporting our team of project managers with their global travel plans. I'm seeking a candidate who is organised, can pick up new processes quickly and ideally has some previous experience working within a busy finance team.
ACCOUNTS AND ADMIN DUTIES
* Process invoices and payments and reconcile accounts
* Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets
* Stationary supplies and office consumables ordering
* Assist in reconciling monthly credit cards
* Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records
* Perform general administrative tasks as needed within the finance department from time to time
* Maintain a record of all current VISAs and support applications for new VISAs with our 3rd party service provider
* Highlight to management travel requested outside of policy/guidelines
* Handle travel requests and book flights and hotels for engineers and record details on a centralised system.
