Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity to join a successful small family business in Guildford. The company is looking for a confident administrator who is eager to develop their accounts experience and is comfortable carrying out a variety of tasks—no day is the same!
Some accounts experience is preferred, but full training will be provided!
Your New Role:
Accounts Responsibilities:
1. Manage sales and purchase ledgers and credit control.
2. Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and process payroll.
Admin Support:
1. Handle customer service inquiries.
2. Support office tasks such as typing quotations and delivery notes.
3. Assist with managing sales and purchase ledgers and credit control.
4. Process payroll and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
5. Support quarterly VAT return preparation.
What are they looking for?
Ideal candidates will have:
* At least 2 years' office experience and confidence with Microsoft Excel.
* A passion for finance and be on their way to completing AAT qualifications.
* Clear communication skills and a proactive approach.
* Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage) is desirable but not essential.
