Temporary Health and Social Care Lecturer
Location: Further Education setting
Contract: Temporary
Hours: 14.5 hours per week
Working Days: Thursday and Friday (full days)
We are seeking an experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer on a temporary basis to deliver the NCFE Level 3 Technical Extended Diploma (T Level) in Health and Social Care.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality teaching to 16-18-year-old learners within a Further Education environment. You will deliver a range of Level 3 units, supporting learners to achieve both academic success and practical understanding of the sector.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver teaching on the NCFE Level 3 Health and Social Care programme
Teach specific units including:
Health Education
Role of Play
Mental Health
Positive Behaviour
Plan lessons, assess learner work, and provide constructive feedback
Support learners' progress and maintain accurate records in line with college requirementsEssential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Proven experience delivering Level 3 NCFE Health and Social Care courses
Experience teaching 16-18 learners within a Further Education setting
Strong subject knowledge across the specified units
Ability to engage, motivate, and manage learners effectivelyQualifications
A formal teaching qualification is not essential
Candidates must be experienced and confident in teaching at Level 3 within FEThe role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
