Overview
MFL Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time MFL teacher in Hull ideally starting 22nd t September 2025 and lasting until at least October 17th 2025. This is a temporary position to cover a period of sickness absence, and as such may increase in the future. Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale, between £32,916 and £51048 (this may change if pay scales increase in the new academic year). Scaled down to a daily rate, this results in a daily payment between £168.80 and £261.78 depending on experience and qualifications. There is potential for a candidate to not plan and mark, and simply deliver, and payment for this would be between £140 and £180 per day depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
* Teach MFK to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Full planning and marking is expected, but there are some excellent lessons on bank making planning requirements minimal for this role.
* Teach French to Key Stage 3 and 4 and potentially Spanish to Key Stage 3 students.
* Unqualified teacher/cover supervisor who is a MFL specialist/graduate may take on this role, with planning completed by the Head of Department at the school.
Location and School
Located in Hull, there is a large onsite car park for candidates that do drive. The school has an excellent reputation, and fantastic leadership which fosters a creative and caring environment for teachers to learn and flourish. This school is part of a medium sized, local academy trust, so experience in this school could lead to further opportunities in the future. This is an outstanding school with an excellent reputation in the local area. Behaviour at the school is good, and the staff are encouraging to their temporary staff.

Requirements
* Have experience working within schools in the UK.
* Has experience supporting within UK schools
* Has experience teaching MFL to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* CV must cover the full CV History
* Legal right to work in the UK
