We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, operational efficiency, and commercial performance. This is a high‑impact role working closely with the CEO as a strategic partner to drive growth, profitability, and exit readiness.
Own financial strategy aligned with growth and profitability.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, and working capital management.
Maintain strong financial controls and manage external advisors.
Deliver investor‑grade reporting, KPIs, and board packs.
Lead FP&A to provide actionable insight and analysis.
Analyse customer cohorts, marketing efficiency, pricing, and margin mix.
Challenge commercial leadership to improve profitability and leverage.
Support financial planning for international expansion.
Model new market entry, capex, and growth initiatives.
Identify opportunities to reduce overheads and improve productivity.
Drive process simplification, automation, and offshore/shared‑service initiatives.
Exit & Investor Readiness
Prepare the business for strategic exit or fundraising.
Develop multi‑year financial models, scenario planning, and valuation drivers.
Manage investor relationships and ensure audit‑ready reporting.
Requirements
Current Finance Director or CFO experience in ecommerce, DTC, retail, or consumer businesses.
Strong commercial, strategic, and operational mindset.
Proven ability in FP&A, scaling businesses, and improving profitability.
Experience with AI, automation, or offshore models is advantageous.
