Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently looking for experienced and professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support a range of well-established clients across Edinburgh and nearby areas.

🚛 What You’ll Be Doing
1. Completing trunking and palletised delivery work
2. Transporting goods between depots, distribution centres, and customer sites
3. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
4. Completing delivery paperwork accurately
5. Following all driving regulations and health & safety procedures
6. Minimal manual handling involved on most assignments
🕒 Flexible Shift Patterns
✔ Day shifts
✔ Back shifts
✔ Occasional night shifts
✔ Weekday and weekend work available

✔ Typical shifts between 8–12 hours
💰 Excellent Rates of Pay
PAYE
7. £15.50 per hour
8. £20.66 per hour after 8 hours
PAYE Advanced
9. £17.37 per hour
10. £23.15 per hour after 8 hours
✅ Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift

✅ What We’re Looking For
11. Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
12. Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
13. Maximum 9 penalty points with no major endorsements
14. Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience preferred
15. Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
