Job Title: Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Services
Location: Plymouth, Devon, UK
Salary: £36,000 - £38,283.20 (Inclusive of sleeps)
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the home manager to ensure the smooth operation of the service and the success of the staff team.
* Supervise and empower junior staff to foster a cohesive and motivated team environment.
* Uphold the highest standards of care to meet the diverse physical, behavioural, and emotional needs of young people.
* Collaborate on placement and risk management plans to ensure safety and stability.
* Facilitate engaging daily activities, including community outings, social clubs, and activities promoting independence and social skills.
Requirements
* An NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Services (or equivalent).
* Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior in a children’s residential support environment.
* A full UK driving licence (for transporting young people).
* Over the age of 21.
* Commitment to working towards or having achieved a Level 5 qualification in children’s residential services.
