What you'll be doing Oversee production operations to meet customer requirements. Manage, train and develop technical team members. Manage materials and planning resources. Leading and facilitating a continuous improvement culture within manufacturing utilising lean techniques. Lead and develop site strategic plans. Ensure health and safety requirements are met and that all team members are aware of and meet the work method and behaviour standards and implement disciplinary action as necessary. Member of the Senior Management team and expected to contribute to and develop the business strategy. Ensure efficient procurement, material control, store control and procedures. Ensure the competent and efficient allocation of manufacturing resources within the manufacturing facility. Who we are looking for Outstanding operational leader with energy, commitment, drive, adaptability, creativity, problem solving and decision-making capabilities. Strong and proven experience in project management. A natural coach and team builder with exceptional interpersonal skills who enjoys developing and leading others to improve their performance Detailed knowledge of manufacturing sectors gained either through direct experience of delivery and / or direct experience of project management techniques. Understanding of customer relationship management processes. Ability to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing. Knowledge/experience in Fabrication, Power Transmission & Distribution or transport and infrastructure projects.
