Exciting opportunity to join our Quality Management Team in a newly created role supporting Human Tissue Authority (HTA) Compliance across the Humber Health Partnership group.
This pivotal role ensures ongoing regulatory compliance and supports mortuaries to operate safely and standardly, providing the best care for patients and families during vulnerable times.
You will work closely with mortuary managers, the HTA Designated Individual, and the Path Links and Trust Quality Management Teams to ensure regulatory compliance of mortuary facilities and other HTA-regulated service areas.
The postholder will assist in transitioning the mortuary team to a unified Quality Management system, consolidating two separate services under one compliant operating system to ensure business continuity.
The role is based at Hull Royal Infirmary mortuary, with travel required for audits, incident investigations, and staff meetings at other sites. A valid UK driving license is essential, and some flexibility in working arrangements may be needed. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
This varied role involves document control, audits, investigating non-conformances, incident trending, root cause analysis, service improvement mapping, reporting, liaising with regulatory bodies, preparing quality reports, attending meetings, and staff training on QM processes.
