The successful candidate will assist with training and developing pharmacy students, trainees, junior pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians. The team includes embedded clinical pharmacy technicians, and there are opportunities for pharmacy support workers to contribute. The team is involved in education and training of the wider multidisciplinary team, including medical and nursing staff.
Development opportunities include quality improvement projects, audits, and participation in governance groups such as sub-groups of the Area Drug and Therapeutics Committee. There will also be opportunities to engage in peri-operative clinics and lead initiatives in areas like sustainability, acute pain, and theatres.
