The Role
We require a Graduate Trainee Negotiator to join our successful Pubs & Restaurants Team to support colleagues in managing the sale of specialist pubs & restaurants businesses. You will assist in the full lifecycle of a business sale from generating initial leads, conducting viewings, processing instructions to deal management. This means you will have full exposure to clients, their business for sale and applicants. If successful there is further opportunity to develop into a full fee earning business agent. This is a great opportunity. If you are looking to gain your APC and track to obtain a Chartered Surveyor qualification.
The role can develop into a fee earning full time negotiator role if the candidate is suitable.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Client customer care responsibilities
2. Managing applicant calls and emails requesting information on current instructions.
3. Registering requirements and ensuring applicants receive new instructions / remarketed instructions.
4. Assisting with business generation initiatives such as list building and preparation of marketing collateral
5. Preparing supporting information to help colleagues pitch for new work.
6. Accompanying brokers on sales pitches to local and regional clients.
7. Arranging viewings and administering offers.
8. Accompanied viewings.
9. Checking paperwork for buyer and seller compliance
10. Assisting with events and meeting preparation
11. Uploading and downloading images and documents on our IT systems
12. Preparing, sending, and monitoring mail and email campaigns
13. Working as part of our motivated team to enhance our reputation and profile UK wide.
The role will report directly to a regional Director and ultimately to the UK Managing Director. However, you will also work closely with regionally based fee earners, locally based support staff and a wider central support team of IT and Marketing personnel.

Person Specification
Skills and Experience
19. GSCEs or equivalent grade C or above Maths and English; Essential
20. Minimum 1 year working in property sales or other client facing environments; Desirable.
21. Property related degree educated; Desirable.
22. Studying towards your APC to become a Chartered surveyor; Desirable.
23. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office- especially Excel & PowerPoint; Essential
24. Strong Verbal & Written communication skills; Essential
25. Previous experience in sales; Desirable
26. Highly organised and self-motivated; Essential
