The Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services to our clients while also supporting and mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
* Manage and deliver year-end accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns
* Oversee bookkeeping and compliance tasks carried out by junior staff
* Provide guidance, support, and training to junior team members
* Liaise directly with clients, offering clear, proactive advice and building strong relationships
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
* Assist with workflow management and contribute to process improvements within the practice
About You
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice environment
* Qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or qualified by experience)
* Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with clients
* Leadership qualities with a collaborative approach to mentoring and supporting others
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Driven, proactive, and ambitious to progress your career within a growing firm
