Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Buyer to take ownership of the procurement of both plant and materials across a varied portfolio of projects. The Role: * Responsible for the procurement of plant and materials across a wide range of construction projects. * Develop and maintain strong supplier and subcontractor relationships. * Negotiate cost-effective agreements ensuring quality and timely delivery. * Collaborate closely with project teams to understand requirements. * Monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate procurement records. The Candidate: * Previous experience in a buying/procurement role within the construction sector. * Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation skills. * Knowledge of construction materials, plant and supply chains. * Organised, proactive and able to work effectively under pressure. * A confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.
