As Contracts Manager working for Strategic Estates, you will be the key link between the Principal Supply Chain Partner delivering the new Emergency Department & Critical Care unit for Dorset County Hospital and the DCH Foundation Trust stakeholders. Your responsibilities include supporting project management of Trust-side works alongside the main works, site supervision, risk identification and mitigation, contract administration, and handover to operational teams.
Working closely with colleagues in Estates & Facilities, you will ensure smooth handovers and synchronization with works undertaken by others. You will serve as the technical and contractual specialist for the Strategic Estates team, providing effective leadership and management of design teams and other consultants engaged for project delivery.
You will develop and interpret complex client briefs, applying knowledge, experience, and relevant standards such as approved codes of practice, Health Technical Memoranda, and Health Building Notes to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
