Job Title: Conveyancing Legal Assistant

Overview
An established and highly regarded Top 100 law firm in Bristol is seeking a Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join its busy Residential Property team. The role is ideal for someone with 1218 months of hands-on conveyancing experience who is ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist fee earners with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
Prepare and draft documentation such as contract packs, completion statements, and standard letters
Carry out searches, ID checks, and AML compliance
Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
Manage onboarding of new instructions and maintain accurate file records
Support with post-completion tasks including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
Ensure all matters progress smoothly and efficiently, updating clients and colleagues regularly
Provide general administrative support to the wider property team
About You
1218 months experience working within a conveyancing department is essential
Strong understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
Confident managing a varied workload and working to deadlines
Positive team-player with a client-focused approach
Experience using case management systems (desirable)
