Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (SEN)

Start Date: September 2026
Pay: £90 – £94 per day
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school based in the Salisbury area, starting in September 2026.
This rewarding role involves working closely with a student on a one-to-one basis, helping them access the curriculum, develop confidence, and thrive in the classroom environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both the academic and emotional development of the pupil.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN throughout the school day
* Assist the pupil in accessing classroom learning and activities
* Support the development of social, emotional, and communication skills
* Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO
* Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
* Ideally has previous experience working with SEN or a strong understanding of SEN needs
* Demonstrates patience, dedication, and empathy
* Maintains an open-minded and flexible approach when supporting pupils
* Is proactive, reliable, and passionate about supporting young people
