Position Title: Pilates Instructor
Location: London
Status: Hourly + Bonus + Commission
PURPOSE: The Pilates Instructor is responsible for providing safe, effective group Pilates instruction in accordance with all Club Pilates guidelines and expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum 450-hour comprehensive Pilates education, including Mat, Reformer, Chair, and Springboard training
* Up-to-date CPR & First Aid certification and willingness to maintain it
* Willingness to learn and incorporate TRX, Functional Standing Movement (Barre), and TriggerPoint modalities
* Strong anatomical knowledge and commitment to safety
* Experience instructing group reformer classes with ability to modify for different participants
* Ability to teach classes with 6 or more participants using apparatus
* Open availability for at least 6 hours per week (2 shifts)
* Passion for continuous learning and professional development
* Team-oriented attitude
* Pleasant demeanor with excellent customer service skills
* Effective communication skills and public speaking ability
* Punctuality and reliability
* Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and communicating with management
* Strong problem-solving skills with good judgment
* Ability to work well with clients, staff, and management
* Professional, neat, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality
* Proficiency in ClubReady software or ability to learn it
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Deliver Pilates classes (intro, group apparatus, private, semi-private) as scheduled and in accordance with Club Pilates standards
* Ensure safe and proper use of equipment, including hand weights, Chair, Reformer, Springboard, TRX, Magic Circle, and others
* Inspect equipment before classes to ensure safety and functionality
* Maintain studio cleanliness and equipment standards
* Arrive punctually for scheduled classes and sessions
* Participate in networking and community events to promote business growth
* Adhere to Club Pilates educational standards at all times
* Uphold honesty and integrity in all actions
* Perform any other duties as assigned
