Finance Business Partner
Job Type –Full-time, Permanent
Location –Central Support, Hemel Hempstead with some travel to parks

What you’ll be doing:

1. Lead the budgeting and reforecasting for a Park division, partnering with operational leaders to ensure assumptions are robust, owned and aligned to clear KPIs
2. Deliver accurate budgets, forecasts and monthly P&L outlooks, highlighting risks and opportunities to drive performance
3. Provide clear, insightful commentary on results vs Budget, Forecast and Prior Year, supporting Board reporting and senior decision-making
4. Act as the key finance partner for Retail, Leisure and Entertainment, delivering analysis that drives understanding across on-park spend and margin performance
5. Challenge and support stakeholders to ensure operational spend is controlled and performance is continuously improving
6. Strengthen KPI benchmarking, improve reporting transparency and enhance insight through tools such as PowerBI and AI
7. Support robust Capex business cases and track delivery against planned benefits.
8. Drive continuous improvement across budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, increasing automation, accuracy and efficiency
9. Promote strong financial control and compliance while building collaborative relationships across Operations, Commercial and Finance teams.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need:
10. We ideally want someone who is +2 year post qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with a strong academic background (ideally 2:1 or equivalent)
11. Experience in an analytical role within a consumer-facing business retail or leisure)
12. Advanced Excel skills and experience building models in Excel and/or Power BI
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with a curious and tenacious approach to interpreting data
14. Able to work independently, using initiative while seeking guidance where appropriate
15. Excellent communicator, confident engaging both financial and non-financial stakeholders and adapting style to suit the audience
16. Comfortable working under pressure and delivering accurate, high-quality work to tight deadlines
17. Motivated, proactive self-starter with a positive and adaptable approach.
It’s the icing on the cake, but not essential if you have experience in the leisure and hospitality sector.
