As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our Infrastructure division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for a reliable, flexible and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our Monitoring team. As a member of Infrastructure, you will be exposed to a variety of unique projects throughout the country. It is key that you have the balance of being independent, while simultaneously being a strong team player. A strong understanding of the industry, experience in monitoring and topographic are essential to thrive in this role.
Responsibilities of the successful Quantity Surveyor:
* Applications for payment
* Identify, notify and price change
* Managing cost control and financial aspects of key projects
* Providing expert advice on contractual claims and final accounts
* Conducting new award / contract reviews
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
Skills and experience of the successful Quantity Surveyor:
* Degree qualified in a relevant construction or property discipline
* Proven experience in quantity surveying, minimum 3+ years post-degree experience
* Must have NEC3/4 contract experience
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams)
